I just hope this isn't too common, even someone like Molina only averages about 4-5 PO per season and in recent years even less.

This is legit. Just tested it out. Threw out Emilio Bonifacio on a snap throw with Jason Castro.

And they don't do the normal step and throw. Basically just a snap of the wrist from the squat position, hence snap throw. Like others have said, only the elite defensive catchers are able to get a few people a year with this. You just can't get that much on the throw.
