How to manually place players on the DL in Franchise?

I was trying to figure out how to place guys like Harvey on the DL, has anyone been able to do this?

First go to settings and make sure injuries are set to manual.

then go look at the disabled list and scroll to the team of choice and I am pretty sure it's R1 and it will take you to the teams roster and you select the player and injury type from there.

i tried that and when i got to the DL screen it told me to press R1 and L1 to switch between screens and nothing happened.

Has this happened to anyone else?

same thing for me, pushing r1 and l1 does nothing. I have confirmed and reconfirmed I have injuries set on manual for all of my profiles

Injuries manual...go to disabled list scroll with R1 or L1 to the team you wnat then R2 I think pulls up the Names...dl who you want..torn labrum dl for 217 and then you can add days to it...make sure you go back and put injuries on if you want them to be after you are done

Are you sure you have injuries under manual and not just injury management? Go to game play options, push L1, then push R2. Make sure that injuries is set to manual.

At the MODE ENTRY SCREEN at the start of your franchise, if you turn CPU Roster Control to ON you can no longer injure guys even if you have injuries set to MANUAL.

Re: How to manually place players on the DL in Franchise?

I've set up the various season ending injuries through manual injuries but the teams never placed the hurt player on the DL. I added the injuries in Spring Training and played the first week of the regular season and found A-Rod, Harvey, etc still on their active roster sitting on the bench. Any idea how/why the CPU didn't DL these players?
