Quick count pitching is easier - I threw a perfect game

First game of my Cards spring training and 5 pitchers (Wainright, Garcia, Freeman, Motte and Rosenthal) combined for a perfect game. Now I am not very good at The Show so I play on Veteran level, but in the past that was always plenty challenging for me and it was very rare that I could throw a shutout. So this perfect game was stunning to me.

One major caveat: I did use the quick count feature so I had to throw less actual pitches than in the past, so I had far less chances to make a mistake. Still pretty cool. When I realized what was going on and that I had Sam Freeman in the game, I yanked his *** out immediately and put Motte in.

I agree. I threw a 10 inning no hitter with Kershaw (I couldn't score to save my life). I had to take him out the game, and put in a relief pitcher after 10. I then gave up a Homerun to lose. Regardless, I was put in a lot of 3-2 0-2 1-2 counts, and I just had to toss one good pitch to get the out. I also struck out 14. I think I need to move up the difficulty on analog pitching a bit.

First time playing show since 2012, and I'm really enjoying it, but QC really makes it easy for a good pitcher.

QC's on HOF is NOT easy. I'm getting freaking railed. Started my franchise 0-4 and walked 12 guys in the last game.

I'm the Orioles though...

My first game of spring training on All-Star I threw a 1-hitter shutout and dominated. I need to find something between AS & HOF to make it feel right.

Congrats.

I think QC is not very good because how it effects strategy.
For example I was playing as the Braves and came up with Teheran with a runner on 1st, no outs, in a 0-0 game.

I was planning on bunting but I started the AB with 1-2 count! Now granted he could have bunted foul twice, but it took it out of my hands....at that point I was done with it.

One loss was a comedy of plays. Had what was bases loaded (We're in the field) and a chopper back to the pitcher. I throw home to get the force.. except I had a brain fart and forgot there was only a man on 2nd and 3rd.

Now bases were loaded.
Next play Gardner lets a ball go under his glove for a bases clearing single with error.
Need to get it turned around soon lol
