Why can't you edit managers? Also, why are some of the managers not in the game? Is it because if managers are in there first year, they can't be in the game? I think I read that about Madden somewhere, but not sure.

All I know is that any managers or coaching staff not in the game are because they weren't part of the MLBPA at the time the licensing agreement was made. And they can't be included in an update unlike new/returning players. First year has nothing to do with it, Terry Francona (Indians) wasn't in last year and he wasn't a first (managed '04 & '07 World Series Red Sox).

Yea, I figured it had something to do with the MLBPA. Not being under contract. Would be nice if you could edit the managers. Not a big deal though. Thank You..
