It does get really annoying. I tried manually changing some teams' trading block but that didn't seem to help as they just made similarly awful trades with different players.

The worst I've seen so far is Todd Redmond and Colby Rasmus for Oscar Taveras (OS roster). I want to turn of trades but don't want teams to all look almost exactly the same five years in.

The trade discussion thread here has some good info on values and guys that would be traded in different situations. I'm going to go through teams starting July 1 and figure out some trades that make sense. It'll take time, but it's worth it in the end.

Yeah so what happens two weeks into the next season? The red sox trade Clint Frasier for Doug Fister.

Care to explain that one to me

I would love to see trade logic addressed in a patch. It sucks to basically have to turn it off in order to be able to stomach playing franchise mode.
I thought they added something this year to make it near impossible for Franchise players to be traded?

I swear, Colby Rasmus is always part of some insane deal. He's the quintessential CPU ace-in-the-hole.

Relievers have always been overvalued by the CPU for whatever reason. [

On my Tigers franchise I was able to trade a 37 year old Alex Gonzalez for Tyler Clippard straight up. I was shocked that it went through.
