A few questions on influencing hits...
How often do you guys influence hits by using the right stick? Generally I only do it if I have a runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs.
Few other questions:
1. In the past I read that influencing left/right only applies to bunts, but I also read that if runner on second I should influence a ground ball to the right side. So which is it? Does it apply only to bunts or to all swings?
2. Do they stack? Say I have a runner at 3rd and want to hit a fly ball to right field. Could I influence right and then up or is it only one thing?
3. How exactly does this mechanic work? By a under the hood multiplier or something like a visible change in swing (doubtful)? Imagine I am batting with a RHB and try to influence to the left but the pitcher goes outside. Would the result be any different than if I did not influence swing?
4. Does influencing fly ball with HR guys help in hitting homeruns or hinder you?
5. Could it help to attack a certain part of the defense? E.g. gold glover at second but subpar player at SS and/or 3B. Would it be advantageous to influence to the left?
6. I only use it maybe twice a game. Does anyone use it heavily? Should I?
7. why do kids love cinnamon toast crunch?
