Shorter players and crouched stances?

I read online that you should created short players and use legend batting stance 65 (which is pretty crouched from what I gather) because this makes the strike zone very small for the pitcher, giving the hitter some nice advantages.

This sounds good, but I am thinking that doing this introduces other disadvantages such as perhaps having a player that maybe is not as strong or faster or cannot cover as much ground in the field.

What are your thoughts about this strategy? Does it make sense or perhaps there's a happy medium?

does that work against AI? or online?

I made a smaller guy with a sort of crouched stance and his box was according to his size, I don't think he saw more quality pitches though.

I'm not sure if size/weight has anything to do with speed/power? does it?

LOL, no, 99 power/speed is 99 on a fat guy or a slim guy

Re: Shorter players and crouched stances?

I've made different sized guys with a different crouch and I don't seem to notice the box being bigger or smaller.
