Fantasy Draft Round by Round Analysis

In years past, other users have been nice enough to post a summary of their fantasy drafts so others could use them as a guide to better understand where players come off the board.

Does anyone have such a document or post?

The reason I am asking is because I am about to do a Fantasy Draft and I'd like to know who to grab early and who to grab late. And yes, I know each draft is different. Just a general guide would help.

Thanks!

Re: Fantasy Draft Round by Round Analysis

I probably don't have much input to give but:

Trout usually goes in the first 3 picks.
McCutchen and Goldy always go around picks 12 and 13.

If you're looking to get pitchers like Fernandez, Bumgarner, Sale, Harvey, Price, Shields, etc you need to pick one of them in the 1st round.

Puig will be gone by the middle of 2nd round.
Giancarlo Stanton by the 3rd round.

If you want a top closer, 1st round.

Relievers get picked in the 8th.

Most of the good SS's are gone by the 3rd.

Salvador Perez lasts sometimes through the 4th round which is a steal.

What else I miss.

Stanton and Upton are nice steals in the early fourth. Lots of young pitching will go in that round as well, like Wacha, Miller, Gray, etc. Relievers go in the ninth and fourteenth.

Just what I've noticed.

Thanks. However, in years past users have posted all picks in all rounds. Does someone have this document? If not, no worries.
