Inactive Player?...
I recently discovered the white circle with the "I" in the middle of it stood for "inactive player". Can anyone shed some light on what the status "inactive player" entails? The reason I ask is because several times throughout my season so far I've been able to use an inactive player in my lineup or as part of my rotation. Because of this, I thought the icon stood for "injury prone". When I discovered it was actually inactive player, I was confused as to why I've been able to use these players at will, just like they were part of my normal roster.
Am I missing something? I am playing in an online franchise with an abbreviated season so maybe that makes a difference? Any insight would help guys. Thank you.
