Re: What prospects have you had the most success with?

Correa got hurt for me as well. Deshields is hitting like .180 in AAA so I haven't been able to call him up. I'm wanting that true leadoff hitter but right now his bat isn't there and I'm in 2015. My outfield is Santana-Springer-Grossman/Ramsey/Pressley. I really want to upgrade RF as none of those guys are long-term pieces.

Make sure to train Deshields contact. It is going to take 4-5 years before he has respectable contact. I do a lot of drag bunts, contact swinging, and hit n runs with him. His speed in CF at the park helps a ton too. I may have called him up a bit early, but I allow him to play vs lefties and to come off bench as a PR.

This thread: a fun read. Nice job boys.

Just came by to post that the Cubs just traded Javier Baez to the Yankees in my RTTS, in which I'm a SP for the Cubbies. Dunno what our GM is thinking, lol.

Great idea. I have him training in that but I'm going to assume his progression might take a hit with his poor production in AAA. I really want that 99 speed in CF for me but he needs to improve. I'm creeping into the WC race behind a strong past 10 games and might look to add a veteran OF bat down the stretch. Deshields might be a solid option at some point in 2016.

Yeah I don't think I called him up until 2016..or maybe it was 2015. He will hit for a low average at first. I recommend being cheesy with him (not something I normally do), but drag bunts and bunting works great with him. His contact is now in the 60's in late 2016, so he does progress decently.

Im waiting at least until mid to late 2016 to bring Deshields up. His contact is just to low to justify making him an everyday player yet and im in the middle of 2015.
