Exactly I really want to create a rtts player who is fast and is a great fielder and on offense be a slap the ball into play kinda guy. Maybe I will give this a try and see if I can get into the MLB with this play style. I think it would definitely be a good change of pace from the generic power hitting first basemen it seems so many other players do (not that there is anything wrong with that)

I think I have found the problem to my lack of fielding attempts. I was playing around with various settings and I ended up changing CPU teammate hitting from half to all and I now am seeing many more fielding attempts. Not sure why these to things are correlated but it seems that they are. I went from 2-3 attempts a game to now 5-7 attempts.

1B gets a lot if you count receiving throws for force outs. It's a good way to rack up points when you get 5 training pts for every put out at first base.
