In Season Contract Extensions
is there anyway to negotiate contract extensions with players in season in MLB 14? i.e. the Red Sox and Jon Lester, or is that not a feature in this game?

I am hoping they add this at some point (next year )

At least they have finally added the option to hire/fire managers/coaches during the season

I've been wanting them to add player extensions on contracts for years.

I even listed it under "bugs" last year, but they never add this feature.

*shrug* for whatever reason they don't seem to think it should be in the game.
