Can you add Individual Players after starting a franchise?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if you can add individual players from the vault or created players after once you have begun your franchise?

For example, I am the Cubs, maybe I would like to add someone like Sandberg or Banks from the vault or create them once I am 20 games into a season.

Nope. You would have to edit an existing player.

^ One of the most significant additions still to be made (for me anyway). Not available yet, but here's hoping :P.
