Contact hitters as in High Contact/Low Power. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like those hitters are very ineffective. Line drives find fielders much more often, and forget about flyballs, they are all out. This problem didn't seem to be in last years game at all.

I'm 115 games into my Franchise and Brett Gardner is my only player hitting over .280.

Contact hitters are fine.

I build my teams around contact much more than power. No issues playing or simming games.
