Question for CD attendees or game dev or programmers
Ok first off thank you for reading and hopefully replying too this thread. This is SUPER important issue that i dont know if we can ever have resolved.
Since as far back in computer baseball games as i can remember there have always been players (stars - Scrubs) retiring way way way too early. I guess that this year someone over on The Show Nation simulated through whatever year it was that Jose Fernandez was at the age of 27, but he said he had retired.
Here is the persons exact post...
Didn't have enough room budget wise so had to release him.
At the end of the year I see he retired due to poor free agent market.
He was only rated a 98.
Pretty ridiculous huh?
what im trying to find out is this... has anyone ever that has been to a CD at the studios ever asked why this happens or to the dev/programmers why this is , and if there is a fix or cure for it?
Thank you for any information any of you have on this issue...
like i said this has been an issue since i can remember and i have been playing computer baseball games since Front Page Sports baseball pro series. maybe even further back than that but i have no way of remembering if the early days of the World Series baseball series had this issue as well..
