Re: Fewest runs scored and least given up, every year.

I've been playing with my pitch consistency set to 3 for the past few games and have gotten really good results overall (Since June 12 on my franchise). Take a look at the box scores from my franchise page and you can see the results. I think they've been pretty good. The 13-11 loss was crazy. Especially since I scored 5 runs in the top of the 9th to take an 11-10 lead.

You definitely will throw more balls, I guarantee you that. I walked in a run on four pitches a couple games ago.

Odd that his post was deleted for spam.

Wasn't he a 13 or something overall? Maybe not and he was a spambot and I'm just confused, but anyways!

I tried reducing Consistency before increasing a few other CPU sliders instead but if these don't work out, maybe I'll give it a try again!

Spammers copy and paste previous quotes in the thread and have a code behind the post you can see if you go to quote them. That post looks oddly similar to this one with the added smilie making no sense:

I've noticed that but I missed this one.

Good catch.

Is anyone who's trying a reduction in Human Consistency using Quick Counts or Classic pitching, by chance?

I use Classic pitching, but not Quick Counts. I have control and consistency at 3

I use Classic and QC...

I HAD been using 3/3 for about 25 games, but went to 3/4 for both HUM and CPU when I experienced a few too many walks with the bases loaded, etc.

Since there are quite a few three ball counts, 3/4 is giving me a much more satisfying statistical result...
