Can you play multiply season in Offline franchise for the ps4 unlike ps3 version!

Since the the latest patch seem like the ps3 version got the shaft.The offline franchise budget issue hasn't been fixed.Unlike the ps4 version that was release in may and got a patch to address within 2 months.I am now considering purchasing a ps4 for the mlb the show.Since sony want ps3 user to make the switch to the ps4 knowing that majority aren't in rush to pay 450$ for a ps4 system .Im wondering do any ps4 user experince any increase in team budget issue after a year of Offline franchise play.For example do you see a teams like the Houston astros budget payroll in the offseason in the 50%. Can you play multiply season in offline franchise without experince these problem.

Okay thanks for the reply tbarnes wow i guess i be purchasing a ps4 then.Its just wrong how scea is doing ps3 user this year for the mlb the show.Knowing that mlb 14 the show is system seller.
