Are you not able to use rookies in RTTS? I have the correct roster loaded before I try to pick George Springer, but he is not available to pick. Are only players on the default roster available to choose for RTTS? I noticed Tanaka and others that were not there to choose.

Is he on the Astros? You can only choose from players on the MLB teams. -

He's on the Astros when I check the roster from the main menus, but when I go into RTTS and try picking him he doesn't show up, nor do the other rookies on MLB teams.Comment

wow i never noticed this..
springer is in MLB on my roster also and hes not showing in RTTS, however many other rookies are.
its weird because its not a default roster choice for RTTS since i can see all my editsComment

You know that by choosing an MLB player, you're not actually getting to play as that player, right? It just models your guy after him, gives you a scaled down version of their attributes and gives you the same swing (or pitch delivery).
I'm guessing Springer isn't available because SCEA only inputted the "scaled down attributes" for players who were on an MLB roster on opening day. This is a 1-5 rating on 5 different tools, contact, power, arm, speed and fielding.Comment
