Does anyone else play with classic pitching/timed batting settings?

I've played Sony's MLB games since way back when 989 Sports was making them, I believe MLB 98 was the first. I have always just played with classic pitching and timed batting. I've tried the different control options that have been added with The Show, but I always find myself going back to using the basic controls that I have always used.

I know with online play that you have to use at least zone batting, but I rarely play online because of bad internet. A few people I know that play the game think I'm a little weird for choosing that certain play style. I mostly stick to playing Franchise Mode anyway, so I've never been concerned with online play.

I know this is kind of pointless, but I have just been curious for a while if anyone else plays with the basic control schemes for both pitching and batting.

I used to play both ways. I cant play with any hitting type. It just throws me off. I just started using pulse pitching. I love it

I love classic pitching. I use the hitting like I did with MLB12 with just the stick and button to swing. I will never change this.

Count me in. Timing, classic, offline player. Also use auto fielding with manual throwing, and auto baserunning. I find it easier on me than controlling everything.. Too much stuff to worry about.

Using RTTS, I'll control everything as it is me playing but always timing and classic for me with normal swings every time!

Me too! Of course the reason I always use classic pitching is because I have trouble seeing the meeters, same reason I use auto fielding, but manual throwing.
1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!

                  I do this also.

Classic pitching and timing-based hitting let attributes and streaks matter a lot more than the other interfaces, in my opinion.

Classic Pitching and Timing hitting are the most used play modes in pitching and hitting fyi.

                      I play this way.

I'm getting too old for all these 'timing mechanisms'
