Re: Legends of the Show 15...

Why would anyone want virtual cards of Legends anyways? Should they not just put the actual legendary players that are on the virtual cards in the game?.. would it not be a waste if they didn't? What's the point?

Nope actually the complete opposite people would pay money in order to buy diamond dynasty money in order to pay for the packs they are in. Look at 2K15. They have done it that way with exclusive legends online.

I guess you have to "get" this Diamond Dynasty concept. It's not appealing to me, but to each their own. Now, give me more legends from which to choose, classic stadiums in which to play, and I'm first in line.

I am praying your not saying Bonds is better than Hank Aaron.

Re: Legends of the Show 15...

Remember there will be 1 legend per team and all decades from 1940s to recent will be represented. So, no Babe Ruth, Cobb, Big Train etc..

Dodgers: Jackie Robinson? (Fernando Valenzuela if not Jackie?)
Giants: Willie Mays
D'Backs: Randy Johnson
Rockies: Larry Walker
Padres: Tony Gwynn

Cubs: Ernie Banks
Cardinals: Ozzie Smith (would prefer Bob Gibson or Stan Musial)
Brewers: Robin Yount
Pirates: Roberto Clemente
Reds: Pete Rose (lol, j/k) Johnny Bench/Joe Morgan (too close to call)

Mets: Keith Hernandez
Nats (Expos): Tim Raines
Braves: Hank Aaron
Marlins: Luis Castillo
Phillies: Mike Schmidt (would be fine with Steve Carlton)

Angels: Chuck Finley
Mariners: Ken Griffey Jr.
A's: Jose Canseco (lol, j/k) Rickey Henderson
Rangers: Nolan Ryan
Astros: Jeff Bagwell

White Sox: Nellie Fox
Twins: Kirby Puckett
Tigers: Al Kaline
Royals: George Brett
Indians: Bob Feller

Yankees: Mickey Mantle
Red Sox: Ted Williams or Yaz
Orioles: Cal Ripken Jr. (would prefer Brooks Robinson)
Blue Jays: Roberto Alomar
Rays: ummm Greg Vaughn? Rocco Baldelli? Rolando Arrojo?

One thing is clear--one player from each franchise is not enough. I think they'll also shy away from players who had significant careers with two or more teams.

Re: Legends of the Show 15...

For the Twins it would either have to be Kirby Puckett or The Killer. Just for the sake of previously being a legend in MLB 09 and MLB 10, one would have to think Harmon gets the nod. Can't go wrong with either though.

Dodgers: I would take Drysdale, Koufax or Herschiser over Fernando V.
Angels: I really liked Brian Downing, Can't go wrong with Finley though
Mets: Tom Seaver
Braves; Love Aaron, but also would love to see Warren Spahn
Astros: Bagwell/Biggio, flip a coin here
Twins: Rod Carew
