This whole thread is silly. Doesn't matter what you or I or even SCEA wants if MLB won't permit it. SCEA and MLB kinda have to have a respectful working relationship. I'm sure that SCEA would have put these features in years ago had relocation/contraction not been such a very touchy subject in baseball. It IS silly on the part of MLB, but it is what it is also.

Of course it's silly on their part, and "it is what it is" is not an acceptable answer. "Hey, I went to take a piss today and it was pure blood." "Meh, it is what it is." "Ok, phew, awesome... thanks."

Speaking of years ago, no one seems to have an answer for why this very game mode was instituted in an MLB licensed video game 10 years ago... if they could do it then, why not now?

I didn't say I agreed with it, but what would SCEA have to gain by just not adding this in because? I just assume that MLB won't allow certain things, like bench-clearing brawls, PEDs, Pete Rose as a legend, and probably relocation/contraction in the game. It is what it is.

Yeah I got ya, I'm just bitter balls about the whole thing because if it was once on ps2, why not on ps4 ya know. It could be MLB's sphincter is tighter now than then but I think they outta lighten up if that's the case.
