Did I see correctly or did my eyes betray me; that in MLB 15 you'll be able to edit both the years and salary on a contract in the roster screen? if so that'll be great news for an already great game. Any help is appreciated!

Keep in mind contracts can ONLY be edited outside of franchise mode. Once in franchise it's locked.

That is a very important tidbit. It must done to the rosters before you start your franchise, so if we are doing the transfer save the editable contract doesn't apply.

has it been revealed as to how editable they will be? For example will you be able to add in options, no trade clauses, all that tactical stuff? or is it just going to be you can add years and dollars for a contract? Either will be good with me because now we get to finally see the big deals that guys like Kershaw, Stanton ($300M really?!) and Scherzer signed? rather than the per player value that the old Show games used to generate

I asked this question a while back before we had more details on the editable contracts. but are knights roster crew editing contracts too when they make the rosters?

Just years and dollar amount. No options.
