How many games do you play per season in Franchise?

Depends. In franchise, I do lots of simming, acting like a GM only mode. So usually 3-4 franchises I'll take 4-6 years into the future like this.

But for my primary franchise, I play more than 1 game per series. Probably 70 or so games per season. Sometimes I'll play 5 or 6 games in a row, then sim a week.

With Quick counts last year, I was able to get through a couple seasons like this, so in my primary franchise, I played easily 150 games. Quick count games still took 20-30 minutes most of the time.

In my franchise i pick 1 game per week (the most important) until the last month then play every game the last month till the end and i make the playoffs or until im eliminated from playoff contention then i just sim till the end of the season, but this year im thinking about using quick counts to play 162 game season then if i make the playoffs i will switch it to regular counts.

Depending on how i am feeling and how my team is doing, I play either every other game to be able to pitch with someone different and it evens out nicely or I play 1 game a series and I keep track of how many times I pitched with each person so I can use each pitcher evenly. I like to mix it up so it seems less repetitive and get through the season decently fast because I enjoy seeing my prospects progess and love the offseason!

Yea I thought about doing the quick counts thing but isn't the fun actually working the count?

I start every game and then hit simulate to end and I'll intervene for key at bats, pitching scenario's, tie games on the 8th and other random situations I feel like playing. Other than that I'll play like 2-4 whole games per month, usually with my youngest pitcher

Absolutely, but I still play a LOT of RttS, so I get plenty of full batter/pitcher battles still.
