Do I buy last years version instead?

Hello,

Just got a PS4 and i'm honestly just wondering to myself, do I just save myself $40 and buy the The Show 14 and download some updated rosters?

I mean, unless someone can sell me on how this 2015 version is vastly superior to last years, i think i'm going this route. Are there really any dramatic improvements?

Yes there are substantial improvements.
Lighting,shadows,pitch breaks,quick counts fixed,medium offense camera now lets you see where the ball is headed off the bat but to name a few.

I'll be honest with you, if you're on the fence watch the countless hours of footage posted by Sonysandiegostudio on twitch. That should make clear the quality of this game. They go beyond 'port/roster updates' each and every year....but it's your money.

Just for the sun transition and brand name gear is worth a buy over '14.

If you want to play online at all 14 will be shut down in June.

Also, if you enjoy Ultimate Team modes, Diamond Dynasty is much better this year.

MLb 14 is the ps3 version but up rezzed imo.

15 truly feels like next gen MLB.

It is to me. I look for realism in my sports games..One step closer to real life having Nike, Wilson, Under Armour. Do us a favor and give your head a shake. Thanks.
