Teamplay/co-op/shareplay

Ok,so here is the deal, from what a couple of my friends n myself have figured out for those of you (us) that have been wondering about playing on the same team with a friend online FROM SEPARATE LOCATIONS. Two years ago the show actually had the option for this in the menus, PS3. For whatever reason it was not available on PS4 (next gen), so that was a boring year.
So this year I personally did not see or hear anything confirming or denying the existence of this feature. Fortunately a few weeks back some dude posted a thread on how to play on the same team from two different locations...it is done using shareplay which is found on the screen where you would invite friends to a party.
The first handful of times we played it was laggy for me (i did not host, i was invited to shareplay) his connection was perfect. So something occurred to him that maybe he should get off of "wireless" and plug his wire back into the PS4, he then went somewhere in his "settings" under "connection" or something like that. When he did this BANGO, it was a perfect connection as if I was playing off of my own game (when you do shareplay n ur invited u actually go off of the feed from the person who invited you)
We are pumped, finally we get to do a franchise on the same team. That being said it is not online, just against the computer which for us is fine. This is odd, during one of the loading screens, boom, CO-OP mode, and it shows you the corresponding colors for players 1-4, yet there is nothing that Ive seen in the menus for this....sorry for the log post but hopefully this helps with some guys looking for this feature

Do you both own the game or were you both able to use just the one persons session via shareplay? I'm guessing just the one guy needs it as esstentially you are joining his game.

Myself and several other MLBTS vets, mentioned this feature for those wanting co-op play back. Have also tested myself and convinced my brother to purchase this years title after his experience with co-op. Only downside is visuals

We both own the game but last night I ejected mine to see if it would work with just his and waddya know...it worked. Just remember not to go wireless or else ur gonna be laggy/choppy. Once my friend plugged back in to ps4 n adjusted his settings the game has been flawless

If only one person owns the game isn't there an one hour limit to share play?
