Meter for me. It's the best way (for me) to change speeds.

So do you want to have a version of the game to have classic hitting where you press a button just as the pitcher throws the ball and base on hitter ratings the outcome will occur positive or negative?

I never got this. I want to play the game and if pitching is just to hit a button and the rating of a player will determine the posibility of the outcome why pick up the controller?

If that is such a sim thing then why not the same for hitting and just not field and let the cpu field.

I have used pulse/fade since they introduced it a couple of years ago. Feels like I'm in control and allows a wide range of outcomes (especially on higher difficulty), which, to me is realistic. Only downside is that it can give you a headache after 2-3 games. Maybe I'll reconsider meter this year.

How Does it work exactly? Do you release just before vibration or by arm motion? Thanks

No you usually just press x or tap it to be more accurate unless you go for a strikeout you might hold it down till it vibrates

I like classic pitching because it is all about pitch sequencing and location. I still have total control over what pitch Im throwing, and it generally goes in the location I want it to go to. And I like that the ratings are somewhat taken into account for the control of the pitch. I control everything else.

With pulse, I feel like I have less control over where the pitch is going than I do with classic. Especially when I try to throw the pitchers 4th or 5th pitches. The circle is bouncing so fast that it is near impossible to ever get it reasonably small.

Meter is ok, but it takes too long and I hate adding things onto the screen. Plus, I cant watch the pitcher as he is pitching because I have to look at the meter.

If there was an option to hide the meter and just time the release of the ball based on the pitchers leg kick and release point, I would totally use that.
