Weird presentation in year to year franchise mode

I transferred over my MLB 14 franchise over to MLB 15 mode - controlling all 30 teams in my 2019 season. I got about a month into the season and noticed some odd glitches.

Every game had the opening day presentation - always talking about the best pitchers and having the opening day graphics on the video board

Every home run was the players first of his career - even if they had hit over 200 HRs. Same with saves

Anyone else have similar issues?

I lost the homerun derby in the semi final with a year to year RTTS and the very next game I was the spotlight player, with a graphic showing that I won the homerun derby lol
