I was playing a Diamond Dynasty game online, and I was down one in the eighth inning. The opponent hits a dribbler to the left and my catcher goes to pick it up, but he knocks in out, and I assume it's a foul. He keeps running to first and then second, but I figure the game will catch up and he'll be back to bat.
Well the game assumed the same, because my BALL BOY walks into the field and proceeds to pick up the ball and walk back over to his stool. Meanwhile, the opponent just keeps sprinting the basepaths, and before I know it, it's an inside-the-park home run. I desperately tried to throw, but the ball boy simply sat with indifference as he held the ball on his stool.
Needless to say, I was appalled and watched the replay like four times.
Any other ridiculous ways to drop a game?
