Re: Anyone playing on a 4k tv?

Well I run through my receiver and at my receiver I can lower it to 1080 or even 2580

Both look amazing but if I set to auto then the show loads at 3840 × 2160 which is 4k

So I guess ill leave at 1080p and change on my receiver for 4k movies .... TV's have sure come a long way lol

I was wondering this, kinda off topic but what can you watch on a 4k TV that is actually 4k resolution? It's not your cable, satellite, blu ray, so what?

Do you pay for the UHD plan? It's $12. I know for sure House of Cards is 4k. I believe most of Netflix's own shows are. Their new show Bloodline is really good btw. I'm not sure if they have any AAA movies in 4k.

Re: Anyone playing on a 4k tv?

I don't know how long 4k tv has been a thing just found out about it last year but I do wonder how good do games look on a 4k tv has there is not any games on consoles that are 4k yet so it would be upscale 4k not full 4k. If any one has a good 4k tv and good 1080p tv could they take a photo of the game on the to tvs?

This should help you, it's Netflix help for 4k content:
https://help.netflix.com/en/node/13444

Once you have your Netflix set up and are on a compatible TV, you should see a ribbon for Ultra HD content when you start up Netflix, and Ultra HD as a format option for Breaking Bad, seasons 2 and 3 of House of Cards, and any other 4k movies or shows (there are only a few).

Also, Amazon video has 4k TV series and movies. Some are free if you are a Prime member, others you have to pay for.
