Re: Franchise Sponsorships Question

Yes it's a crutch. And it's not that bad of an idea. Many many players who play sports game do it to build a dynasty and dominate. They're not exactly interested in everything being fair (real life isn't fair, especially not baseball). This is a way players can boost their budget and sign that big free agent without needing to win 100 games as Houston just to get the wiggle room to do it, or whatever. I do have an interest in what the CPU teams do and do like them to be competitive so I'm not big on it, but who cares, don't use it then.

Re: Franchise Sponsorships Question

maybe its to help you build a winning franchise quicker since if you have GM Contracts ON you have 3 seasons to put a winning team on the field. having the sponsorships help you gain a budget that lets you sign on better players to create that winning franchise.

that is what I Believe anyways. The CPU really doesn't need to worry about this as we players do.

IF you do not use GM Contracts then its a different story.

But on this "issue" it's even easier....DON'T SIGN SPONSERS if you don't want an advantage.

But this is O.S.

There are people with helpful suggestions...and then there is the rest of the site.

The reason I don't want to use 30 team control is because I hate manually simming games for the cpu teams .. Also don't like filtering email etc..

Why would you need to filter their mail?

Re: Franchise Sponsorships Question

Mail has been nerfed quite a bit this year anyway. I don't see the league transactions and all the moves anymore.

Re: Franchise Sponsorships Question

Is it 100% confirmed that the cpu doesn't use sponsorship dollars, meaning that if I use them I will have an inflated budget vs the cpu?

Re: Franchise Sponsorships Question

Ehh....I don't like having to manually sim the games either....
But I also hate stopping for red lights....observing the speed limit(sort of)....and fueling up my vehicle....but it beats walking or getting locked up.

Dont think it has yet but i just from the history of this series i would assume the CPU wont.

Im not using it, just to be safe, i dont want any plastic advantages like that.
