Road to The Show help for newbie

This is my first experience with MLB The Show and for now I am focusing on RTTS. Did a bit of help and counldnt find much out there.

1. Is it possible to walk? Ive lowered all the CPU accuracy, strike rate sliders and find its very hard to take a walk. Seems every count ends up at 2 strikes at some point. I think ive walked 3 or 4 times over 125 at bats or so. Not realistic.

2. Any way to change camera angle in the outfield. As a RF i made 13 errors my first season and that doesnt include the dozens of missed balls.

3. Do your ratings have to exceed the starter at the MLB level to get called up? I had a very good minor leauge season but am starting year 2 in the minors again.

1. Yes you have to be patient and work the count. My shortstop has 14 walks in a month and a half

2. Press and hold left stick in I believe

3. No but it helps

Lower hitting difficulties will cause the ball/strike frequence to favor strikes as well. I draw more walks on All-Star then Veteran simply because the CPU will try and get me to chase.
It took me probably a month when I first started to get to a point of consistantly having good at bats.
