Post Game Card not Showing - Legend

First off, my apologies if this has been asked...I perused the forum and didn't see my particular question, but I am getting old and may have overlooked it...

I unlocked Bichette earlier today on Rockies by finishing up that rather cheap collection...I understand I can't sell him...I go ahead and play a few games of DD and, lo and behold, I get Bichette as a post game card...In my collection, he shows in the left pane as well as the right pane as unlocked...Problem is no banner with x2 on it, which is probably why I can't sell the card, d'oh...Was wondering if anyone ran into a similar situation of not getting credited for a card, in this case a Legend...Would've liked to turn that into some quick stubs...

This happens when you unlock a legend. When you unlock him and then play a game mode, after the game mode it will say you acquired a new card but it was really the card you unlocked from your collection. It usually shows up right after you unlock a collection but sometimes it delays.

It happened to me last night after I unlocked Killebrew. I played a franchise game after unlocking him. After the game it said I acquired Killebrew. I thought what were the odds of that. I also got 2 other cards but the Killebrew was just the acknowledgement that I had completed my collection from earlier.

Can you sell legend cards you unlock by completing a collection?

No...once you complete a collection all cards for that collection become locked including the legend.

Be careful, if you have a diamond that is not needed for the collection (Tulo for the Rockies as an example) It will lock the diamond card also. Someone has suggested to put it up for sale for an insane amount, complete your collection, then cancel your auction. That way the card wont get locked and you can sell it later if you want
