Weather Question

Hey guys,
Just a question about weather in franchise. I am playing my franchise and notice at the start of every game it gives me the option to choose weather and its always seemingly defaulted to clear skies. Is there a way to have weather be random in franchise mode? Thanks for your replies!

This is what I do also.

I also noticed it doesn't seem like the wind has any effect on the ball what-so-ever. Anyone else notice that?

Re: Weather Question

I have resorted to looking up the current weather for the city where the game as being played and use that. Only takes me about an extra 5-10 seconds to do.

I do this a lot. I hold the D pad certain direction left, right etc for a few seconds.... And play with whatever weather it falls on. Unless it falls on Rain. I'll do it again. Cause playing in rain is not to often for a full game.

Re: Weather Question

Cool suggestions! Thanks guys! Seems a bit strange that there isn't a pre-determined weather mechanic... But if thats my one gripe about the game it tells you how great it really is!

Re: Weather Question

You can go to Wunderground.com, type in the zip code, and see what the weather was on a particular day. If I'm ahead, I'll go with what's forcasted. You know, keep it realistic.

I have noticed that also. In an online game earlier I had a couple HR's hit off Felix at Safeco (I was pitching) and the flag at center field showed the wind blowing straight in from center to home. It didn't look like it had any affect.
