Did You Stick to Your Y2Y Save?

Just looking to poll MLB 14 players on how they interacted with the first-ever year-to-year save feature for a sports game and if they have been sticking to their old save, or find themselves unable to fight the habit of starting a new year with a new game.

Twenty five fully played(managed) games in and loving it.
Haven't even started my 2015 new franchise yet and probably won't for a long while.

Re: Did You Stick to Your Y2Y Save?

All three carryover saves are being played (2014 Year 2 Yankees Chise, 1987 Year one Yankees chise and 1991 Pirates season replay).

I will eventually start a brand new 2015 Marlins/Royals franchise. But not for a while. I am having way too much fun with these three Y2Y files.

Greatest feature ever made for sports games.

Totally agree with it being the best feature. If madden had this feature I'd be in my 100th or so season with the niners dating back to madden 99.

However in my current show franchise, I'm sitting in 2016 with a 67-45 record with my Cubs. I was 93-69 in 2015 and 72-90 in 2014.

Re: Did You Stick to Your Y2Y Save?

100% committed to my Pittsburgh Pirates franchise.

Year 1: 82-80 (missed playoffs - all on The Show '14)
Year 2: 29-30 (all on The Show '15)

I play every game and use QC's. Is there a The Show-holics Anonymous?

Re: Did You Stick to Your Y2Y Save?

In year 2020 of my Cubs franchise from '14. I'm in the NLDS going into game 5 against the Pirates after winning 95 games. Pittsburgh won 98...

I've contemplated starting over, but I'm too attached to my minor leaguers and guys I've drafted.

Re: Did You Stick to Your Y2Y Save?

I was about 3 weeks away from the playoffs when I bought '15. In the past I never even made it to the playoffs, because I could never play enough games before the next year's game came out.

So I did the Y2Y thing so I could continue my 2014 Mets season, and now I'm getting ready for game 1 of the NLDS against either the Nationals or the Dodgers.

As far as The Show is concerned, I've never been happier or more satisfied, than I am now.

Re: Did You Stick to Your Y2Y Save?

I would have carried over my MLB 14 RTTS, but I don't want to go through the hassle of buying/renting/borrowing MLB 14 on the PS4 to transfer my PS3 file over to MLB 15.
