MLB 15 The Show Server Maintenance Complete, Change Notes Revealed (5-3-15)

The MLB 15 The Show team ran some server maintenance on Sunday May 4th at 3 AM PT. The servers were unavailable until 5 AM PT. Below are the change notes, for those of you that might have missed it.

• Fixed an issue where users could scout players that are not known to their team.
• There is now a Free Agent tab in the Marketplace of The Show. Marketplace updating will now update player listings and data that have moved from the mlb pool to free agent pool in each Live Roster update.
• Collection screen has free agent tab in Diamond Dynasty.
• Extra Innings is now MORE random, widening the pools of eligible users/DD teams.

What exactly is the free agent part of this update? Is it used in DD somehow?

It creates a Free Agent tab (right before the Stadium tab) which includes players that are free agents as of the last update. There are currently 16 people on it and it counts for the 5% bonus for completing a set. It's also the only tab I have completed, which tells you my luck with DD cards.

Does Extra Innings ever match you up against teams on your friends list?

Anything on nurfing the rewards? After that patch, the reward % went waaaay down. Extra innings and playing CPU MLB teams now only give a 0.2% chance for diamond. I guess they've been making a killing by making people buy stubs. It looks like they're trying to squeeze more money out of people.

No, the only way you can play your friends team is by finding him in the standings.
