Question about pitching/catching

When pitching, the catcher always gives me the pitch type he wants thrown when I hold the Right trigger button, but only in random games gives me the location. Is there a reason this happens? Is it due to some attribute or just a fluke? Thanks.

Theres two different options. One for the catcher to always call the pitches and another where its only sometimes.

I've noticed this happens when there's some cutscene, like a foul ball for example. It's like you miss the first time your catcher gives you a pitch location so you have to keep asking for it. Small bug, but one that shouldn't happen. Guess you can say that about all bugs huh? haha
