Are these issues that sliders can correct?

I'm in September with my RTTS second baseman, and here are the problems I see regularly.

#1 CPU bunting for no reason. I'm talking perennial All Stars bunting with 2 strikes for no reason. See this regularly.

#2 Getting robbed at the plate, practically every game. I'm only hitting .227, but I swear I hit gap shots or bullets all over the field that miraculous plays are being made. Not exaggerating, I could be hitting .300, or close, if not for the ridiculous CPU defense.

Are these issues sliders can fix?

For #1 I'm not sure, bunting has been an issue before the last patch.

#2, yes, you can change the fielders reaction to the ball in the sliders. The default sliders for that are kind of tough at first, but if you decrease it a little bit you can start to see the difference in the CPU defense.
