But in real MLB so is arguing/challenges. With the implementation of the challenge system this year if they only focused on first base the rest of the blown calls on other bases should have been eliminated.

However, I think this is more of an AI or graphical error then it is intentional.

I know you're not really arguing this point, but the "neighborhood play" isn't reviewable.

I agree with you, though. I think it's a graphical error rather than an intentional thing.

Its always been an issue in this series but seems even worse than ever this year...fielders getting the out when their foot is literally nowhere near the bag.

This picture is from my game last night, please dont say its only in replay, the reason i went to replay to get the screen grab was because i saw very easily and clearly in real time how the fielder was a million miles off the bag, im getting outs on these plays all the time, its not a rare occurrence, im seeing them pretty much every game, and often just as glaringly bad as this.

Anyone else seeing them too? Surely it cant just be me?

I am assuming that this was a force out @2B.

Can I get some more information (this is probably just some bad embedded animation data):

1) Was this the start of an attempted DP?
2) Was this an offline throw?
3) Did you happen to save the replay (if so can you post it or send I to me)?

Thanks!

The difference between this place and EA's FIFA 15 forum is something else. Great to see devs interact, shows Sony take pride in their work and actually care beyond you handing over your $/£. EA devs refuse to communicate with the community. There's nothing more frustrating.

Not to take the thread too far off track, but I agree.
The diff between EA & San Diego Studio is the folks at SDS seem to genuinely enjoy their work & the folks at EA enjoy the paycheck.

Re: Feet on the bag please...

An even bigger problem is when the cpu casually rounds the base for you and some idiot makes a normally bad throw and hits r2 and dives and gets a cheap out that you have zero control over that shouldn't be an out.

I definitely think its just a error graphic-wise. I get the neighborhood thing but that's a little much.
