I also started an offline franchise with the Giants a couple of days after the initial OSFM roster was released and this has happened in every single game a home run has been hit. It only happens to the first person who hit a HR on either team and for the rest of the game they stop mentioning it. An annoying bug but I'm so far into my franchise that I cant restart.

In online leagues almost every double is that players first big league hit :^)

Great game but some of these presentation bugs are baffling. Oh well, could be worse.

If you're experiencing the 1st career homerun, rbi, double overlays or the Opening Day bug you have to play the first game of the season between the Cardinals and Cubs. Just control the Cardinals and play out the 1st at bat then sim to the end of the game. Solves the problem. Doesn't matter if 30 team control is on or not.

This was an issue last year and the workaround works this year as well.

If you already started and don't want to start over then you're SOL and will have to deal with it.

This was my plan when I start another one. Grest news that it works because that was very annoying!

Yeah the same problem happened to me and I started over with the workaround and I haven't had any issues.
