So far this year, it is 8th in HR allowed. But the factor for triples was outright insane. 4.014. That's just....WTF.

In 2014, it was 2nd in HR allowed behind only Yankee Stadium.

In 2013, it was 8th in HR allowed.

In each of those years, it was top 5 in triples allowed as well.

If it's not in the game, it should be...as should ALL the park's factors in every park.

I agree. Very easy to hit homers in Yankee Stadium. Citi Field...fuhgeddaboudit.

In my personal experience, Coors isn't quite as homer friendly as Yankee Stadium and Cincinnati, but its large OF dimensions allows many extra base hits and bloop hits to fall. And it does allow more "no doubter" longballs, since the average homer hit there is longer than other ballparks.

I have been keeping track of RUNS SCORED in every stadium and Coors seems to be one of the best pitcher friendly parks. I'm coming up to the AS game. MOST parks are doing as they should but Coors is the biggest difference so far.

Still only half way but it seems weird.

          Franchise - fantasy draft

          COL
Home combined BOTH teams 7.4 runs
AWAY combined BOTH teams 7.7 runs

          NYY
          Home 8.5
          Away 7.5

Stadiums definitely have an effect on the game. I think it's way too easy to hit a home run at Yankee Stadium.

Did they truly calculate balls to go 10% further--on all fly balls? I have my doubts, and we'll never likely know. Do we take their word for implementing something that cannot be seen when some things that can very much be seen, such as uniforms, aren't implemented? It would be an odd move, but they're obviously free to focus their efforts where they see fit.
Are you implying there is no effect in real life? Because even to this day there is a definite "Coors Field effect".

                Re: Coors field park effects?

We know there's a Coors Field effect in real life because we have park-specific statistics that show that. We have no way to parse statistics by park in MLB The Show so we can only trust that it's there.

Except you can. It would just be annoying. Go play 81 games in Coors then every other stadium.

Agreed. I play an offline Rockies franchise and hit WAY more homers on the road.

You would have to manually record the statistics and then run the analysis. Few people are willing to do that.

Then no one has a right to try and act like the effects aren't in game when devs have said they are.

show me where the devs said they are. We're speaking from anecdotal experience, we absolutely have the right if we aren't experiencing the effects to question whether or not they're in there. You're argument is flawed. "Go play 162 games and record every one and compare the statistics or else you can't open your mouth!" I can play ten games at Coors and a hundred in all the other stadiums and tell you the effect doesn't exist, or if it does its incredibly minimal, unlike real Coors field.

I have seen Ramone say that the ball travels farther. You can take the time to look through the hundreds of threads here and on the last gen forum cause im sure as hell not gonna do it.

You heard him say it? So you want us to play an entire season for anybody to say the effect doesn't exist, but you can't spend a few minutes to find a simple quote to prove it does?
