Who's taking anything personally?

And I could say the same thing. We, that see the effects, would just like a little more proof other than word of mouth or anecdotal evidence.

See how this works?

I'm sure we could go back and forth with semantics all day, but then again, it's just a video game that will be considered old a year from now.

I believe stadium effects are in the game because the developers said so but that its existence cannot be proven by users because the relevant data is not available.

Re: Coors field park effects?

SO if I am reading this thread correctly, the DEVS said COORS does have an added effect ON DISTANCE, but not frequency? I can get on board with that. I can say that I do seem to hit more "moon shots" at Coors but the frequency is still well under road games.

Re: Coors field park effects?

A link was provided earlier in this thread but reading through the whole thread is worth it IMHO:

http://www.operationsports.com/forum...l-contact.html

I don't play very well in Coors as a pitcher. I think it may be because my pitches don't break the way I expect.

Also, I usually don't hit very well in sea level parks this year. Off speed pitches in these parks are even harder to pick up because they are slower.

Arizona and Colorado have different atmospheric conditions that the other stadiums in the gamed don't have. It's been there for years and the code hasn't been touched.

Simply put yes the ball acts differently in those two stadiums than the rest.

You guys have a lot of data on how players play the game, right? Does it show that players hit more home runs at Coors Field on average?
