I think I've only seen it once this year. In MLB 10 or 11, I used to see it fairly regularly.

I play as the Marlins most of the time....and rarely see the beach ball lol

It does happen, but very infrequently.

Then sometimes when it does happen - the commentary talks about it, but the camera just shows the outfielder standing there. Wierd.

Does the hidden ball trick scene ever result in an out? Would really add some tension to it if it could.
