Insane number of Triples against?

This year's game has become triple-friendly also because the base running speed has been adjusted (so that faster guys run faster and slower guys runs slower), and the A.I. also is more aggressive in going for an extra base.

When the OFs get the ball against the wall, they are in no hurry to get the ball back in. To me a design flaw.

Yeah, I think this is the biggest problem. The outfielders act like they have time to make a sandwich before they decide to throw the ball. Maybe next year, they can add in a "hurried animation" for them.

This is my thinking as well, OF'ers don't get in much of a hurry to get the ball back in which is leading to more triples than what we have seen in th epast with MLBTS.


Im not sure there is too many overall happening thruout a season, as I can go several games without seeing a triple, but I have also had probably a few too many games where I have had or seen to many triples by 1 team in a game.

I gave up two triples in one game, both to Jose Reyes on Opening Day of my franchise. Besides that I maybe see 1 triple in a franchise week. When you can see that the ball is going to bounce off the wall, be sure the fielder stands back to where he can pick it up quickly, don't chase it all the way to the wall unless you think you have a shot at catching it. Also be sure you are always throwing to the cut off man, and not the base they are running to, unless you can tell you have a very good chance of throwing the runner out.

Or just speed up the existing animation.

Bracing against the wall is fine and realistic - just make them do it with urgency.

I'd be happy with that, not even a new animation.

Through the month of April of my 2nd season and I have 3 triples and have allowed 1 thus far.
