I'm pretty sure they got rid of manager arguments and ejections for this reason.

MLB.com's video section shows off brawls all the time. Don't know why they wouldn't want it in the game.

See Tessl's post just a few posts up. Same reason he gave there.

Perhaps they can program in brawls for teams and players that actually have had them in real life.

Certainly the Royals could be given a few brawl cutscenes

What's interesting is that every player in the game has the potential to point up to the sky after a home run. Isn't that a thing for religious players or players that believe in heaven? What if a player said, "Well, I would never point up to the sky after a home run."

That stuff I understand but I don't believe MLB is preventing custom logos, uniforms, team names etc because it already exists in diamond dynasty - just hasn't made it into franchise mode yet. This is more an issue of where to spend programmer hours.
I am going to play devil's advocate with you tessl on the second part. I think that they are OK with it in a mode like DD because it's a fantasy mode and you aren't always playing other MLB teams. Just a thought.

A player pointing to the sky and a player basically trying to assault another player are two completely different things. One of them is violence and it isn't the former.

Could be but Madden has relocate, rename, etc. so I'm not sure why MLB would block it when the NFL allows it. I could be wrong but I think it is a decision of where to spend programmer resources.

I don't see how RNG saying "player_5739 is suspended for drugs" is "accusing" anyone of anything.
