Everytime I get an extra base hit with runners on when I'm playing online

....the game lags and freezes and then my runners get thrown out or caught in a rundown. Evey single time. Why does it do that?

It sounds like a desync issue which is common if you are playing someone with a bad connection. It's like running the bases blindfolded. You never know where the ball is. Request a friendly quit or you can try to play station to station on the base paths.

I imagine this problem is probably more evident if you are on a WIFI connection as opposed to wired. I'm on wired connection but still experience this anomaly from time to time. I believe the home team is the host so if they have a bad connection the experience may not be what you expect.
