    Hit and run

Is there a way to execute a real hit and run without the runner sliding at second base after a hit is made? Everytime I try to perform this basic baseball function, my runner slides at second base not allowing me to advance him to third like they would on a actual hit and run.

Hold L1 as you're making contact and keep it held. There's no way you should be reaching 2nd and triggering a slide animation before then.

If it's a hit you'll keep running, if it's a fly ball hold R1 to go back, and if it's a line drive you're a dead duck, just like real life.

They need to add a pre load "hit and run" button. PYS uses a system where you preload an action by pressing L2 first then one of the face buttons after, could be triangle for hit and run. There is no need to hold down a button while swinging.
