Conforto raised to 74. Matz still RP at 65. d'Arnaud still too low vs lefties. Familia splitter still missing.

I have a quick question though. When a player is removed from the 40, they're taken off the team roster. In the Mets case it includes guys who are injured on the MLB 60 day DL like Edgin, Tovar, Leathersich. But not Wheeler. In fact Akeel Morris was removed from the game. Why is this? Is there a contractual thing about this? Why have made up players over actual ones?
