Progression

I use manage mode and don't sim so my franchise moves slowly compared to others.

The game is excellent this year, I have adjusted no sliders and get good results but I'm wondering what those who sim years in advance have determined about progression. Ten years into a franchise are there too many/too few superstars? Does pitching or hitting dominate or is there still a good balance?
