I gotta know where this logic comes from ?? lol. Or if it's nonsense lol.
Here's a couple tips that I try to check mark when I get the slump bug. On top of wht everyone else has already offered. The 1st one is always a given. Look at wht it did for Bryce Harper this year.
1. Taking until you get a strike. Every batter. Every ab. A pitcher can go on tilt with 1 ab.
1.A) pretending the ab doesn't start until I have 2 strikes. Not something to live by mlb pitchers have too nasty of stuff. But if they know they have 2 strikes on you and own you there will be more pitches out of the zone.
2. Line up shake up.
2.A)Franchise mainly. Let that young spark plug full of energy riding the pine get your team shook up.
3. Look for something over the fat part of the plate. I get so focused on is it a strike ?! Swing ! I end up missing my high inside pitch to turn on. Relax , that looks good let's just try and put a good swing on it. #Capitalizing on pitchers mistakes
4. Recognize your individual hitters zones. Starling Marte loves pitches high and away. It could be slightly off the plate. Jus go with it and hit it the other way. Every batter has their warm spots.
5. If your only getting 2-3 hits per game. Hit them hard somewhere. Swing for some power.
Just ideas. You can't live by these rules. But sometimes you have to adjust to what your seeing.
