    Scripted Innings!

Please get rid of scripted innings. Unless your killing the CPU it seems like the only innings they score in are the 3rd, 5th and 7th and it gets frustrating. Example: I'm Cubs playing Mets.
3rd inning back to back double for a 1-0 Mets lead
    I score 4 in the 4th.
Top 5 they score 3 on a 3 run HR by Conforto after back to back walks where both batters should've struck out after balls where called when they were clearly strikes.
    Tied 4-4 top of 7
1 hopper to Bryant to throws it away.
Grounder back to pitcher he over runs the ball E1
Next batter inside 0-2 fastballs hits it down left field line for RBI single
Next batter lazy fly ball to RF Soler running under it and it does that stupid fielding glitch and goes over his head for a inside the park 3 run HR.
And I turn off the game.
Not 1st time it's happened it's happened many times! Hope this is fixed next year!
    Happy Holidays
And would like to hear if anyone else is having same issues

Nope, never noticed any scripted innings. I just played the Pirates in Game 1 of the World Series in my Franchise, and they scored once in the first and second and then not again until when they walked it off in the bottom of the 9th.

I dont know about scoring in odd innings, but I have noticed in my games, no matter how the game is going, there will be runs in the 7th 8th 9th innings no matter what. Thats the only part that frustrates me.

                        Re: Scripted Innings!

                        Scripted my ***.

Last night in my 1987 Yankees Franchise (year 2) playing game 2 of a three game set vs the O's I found myself down 5-0 after 2 innings courtesy of a Cal Ripkin Jr grand slam (after I walked Larry Sheets to load the bases with one out to face a slumping Ripkin who then broke out of his slump with that bomb. Thought I could induce a double play...I thought wrong).

I proceeded to draw 4 walks (I do not use quick counts BTW) in the next inning and get a 6-5 lead which I then held the rest of the way enroute to a fantastic come from behind 6-5 win as my bullpen pitched brilliantly from inning 6 on.

                        Scripted?

                        I think not.

Gee i wonder why these types of threads pop up every year, maybe because the game is scripted and some of you are in denial but you also have to consider the fact that everyone's definition of scripted maybe different.. Ive played the Show since its inception and every year this is what happens almost every single game.. Cpu gets down in the count 0-2 or 1-2 and then its foul, foul, foul, little dribbler right past the reach of the infield for a base hit. Batter after batter after batter until they score runs to tie or go ahead. It happens way too much for it not be scripted in my definition. Its frustrating, the cpu can just barely get its bat on the ball to where it just squeaks out of the infield always in critical situations.. But yet I the player can never do that.. Its always either a single, or a double and then a HR. I never string single after single after single after single after single all with two strikes... Thats SCRIPTED to me. If it happened once in awhile, I would be ok with it but it doesn't just happen once in awhile, its EVERY SINGLE GAME all with two strikes in crucial situations. Oh and yes i do change pitchers and it still happens. Its so bad, I don't even pitch anymore, I just hit..

Is it possible your approach is scripted causing you to have the same fate everytime? If you are not putting away batters with some success when you have pitcher's counts something is not right with the approach.
